Rain splattered across her torso,leaving it a dull grey and black.Pistons reached across the moist terra,barely able to keep hold of it.The mud made her slip,making her slow down her already slow pace.She let out an evil snort.She hated the rain.She had traveled to far up into the mountians,and hell seemed to be telling her she had made a mistake.She didn't care.Hell was the least of her worries.Nares were flared and her barrel heaved up and down.The air she breathed was icy,and it made her cough when she had breathed too much in.The baroness ran full-out,indicating she wanted to be out of the horrid weather.She couldn't help but want out of it.The rain flooding her eyes annoyed her,and the clapping of thunder above her was like a bothersome fly buzzing around her auds.Optics gazed across the terra,searching for any kind of shelter.There.Pistons locked,sending mud flying up into her facade.She turned her helm,trying to spot the shadowed area she had seen.She saw it once more.A smirk tugged at her velveteens.She started forward at a full gallop.She noticed it was a small cavern.It didn't matter.At this point,any shelter was welcome.

As she came upon it,she slowed.She entered and lay on the ground,exhausted.In only a few minutes,she out cold.She hadn't slept for days.The skies continued to thrust hail and rain down,condeming her to the fridged cavern she had spent most of the horrid night in.The ice that was caked to her pelt seemed to be clinging for dear life.Cranium bent around and she rubbed her helm against the frozen liquid.It crumbled at her touch,only leaving behind the slightest evidence of frost bite.She shook her serpentine,sending small pieces of dried mud and ice across the prison of rock.A vibration was felt as if it had come from behind her.Porcelain and onyx torso swung around to face where the sound had came from.A rock had fallen from above and had crashed onto the cold stone surface.Optics closed.Her head felt as if it had just been crushed.She collapsed,torso falling helplessly to the ground as she released a frightened scream.

She lay there for hours.Visions of sugar coated lies played behind closed visionaries.She suddenly woke up terrified.She breathed heavily.Her dream had turned into a nightmare,a nightmare called her past.She shook her helm,scattering the memorys.She hadn't had water for more then a day now,and she didn't know how long it had been since she'd eaten.She trembled.A shiver was sent down her spine.She should just go jump off a cliff;atleast her heart wouldn't ache anymore.She knew ending her pathetic life would be doing herself a favor,but she couldn't bring herself to do it . . .

He slid slowly across the glacier, head bent to avoid the wind. He felt like his bones were about to break from the frost forming on his body. Staggering slightly, he heard a scream come from ahead of him. A mare's scream. Plagued by curiosity, he skirted skillfully around a bush and then saw a cave ahead of him. Perhaps she was in the cave? Mustang bodice continued forward, still curios as to her identity. It was only when he was in the doorway of the shelter that he could see her.

She looked miserable and terrified. It was as if she had woken up to find herself surrounded by ghosts of horror. Convoluted continued watching the mare, curious as to the cause of her reaction. Perhaps it was a bad dream? How had this mare gotten here anyway? It was pretty hard to stumble here by accident. Perhaps she wanted to kill herself? Convoluted disliked mares in that state of mind. However, he felt he should at least see this creature. He stepped further into the cave but didn't say a word, content to stay and watch her, as well as listen to her reaction to his appearance. If there was a reaction, that is.

Masculine figurine tipped her vision and she turned in its direction.Shadowed form stood still in the doorway,out of her full sight as she was still groggy from her fall.She blinked a few times,clearing her once foggy vision.There stood a brute,intent on keeping watch on her.What was he doing up here was what she wanted to ask,bit then again,who was she to talk.Normally she stand up and start questioning an unknown equine such as him,but that wouldn't be too kind know would it?After all,he had taken the time to come and see her,even if he had only been curious as to what had made the scream.With a last ounce of groggyness left behind,she stood up and met the gaze of the baron.Slight smile creased her ashen velveteens,but it quickly turned into an almost quizzical expression.Lyrics were formed from deep within her throat to crawl up from her voice box and be projected into the brute's auds.

'I bet you're wondering as to why I'm up in this cavern."Amused smirk quickly turned into soft expression.Of course he was.but first she had better give him something to call her.Nah.Not quite yet.After all,she didn't even know who he was.She looked over the brute's shoulder to see the sun peaking out from behind a grey cloud.Maybe the cold would let up.But no,it was not her lucky day.A light snow began to fall despite the sun's warm glare.Sigh escaped her maw,but she soon pulled her mouthline tight to contain her depression.
