Chestnut bodied mare walked through the place, heading for a large clearing in the aspen trees. Slender legs move slowly, at a walk. Occasionally she shakes her head, chestnut locks hanging down like silk on a washing line. A snort if released into the cold, crisp air, and brown eyes watch as the white mist disappears. She gets to the glade, looks up. The stars, the are bright tonight. Ears flick back and forth, searching for any sound of danger. She lowers her head from the sky, returns her gaze from the constellations to the earth. Zodiac grazes quietly.

Loveless steed sped into the land. His thoroughbred markings showing his true pureness of a purebred. He blended into the night with his bay bodice and black banners. He slowed to a sudden halt when he noticed the glowing bodice of a chestnut mare. A smirk crossed his maw as he picked up a powerful trot, standing behind her. He wasn't to startle her... no, that was too low. Instead, he'd just give her a bit of excitement on a night like this. He halted as nares flared inwards and out. Weight shifted constantly as he watched the miss from attacking distance. If needed. [/size] Word Count: 106 Status: Finished

A scent caught in her nares, a sound carried o9ver the wind to her ears. Chestnut head with its white blaze came up, she looks around. Brown optics catch sight of nothing more that and shadow, horse shaped it is true. She ceases grazing, staring quietly. After a few seconds her optics make out a bay brute, watching her quietly.

The darkened coat grew out of the shadow, a grin crossing over his dark black muzzle. His harks were perched, yet quickly pinned back as he reached out and snapped at the mare, purposely missing her. Just to give her a bit of fright was all. His blood-stained daggers melted into the soft mud where he ascended towards her. He was inches away, still a grin on his face yet ears still pinned back. He arched his neck, showing dominance as he always had.

As the stag stepped out of the shadows, Zodiac turned around to face him, see him better. He was a bay stud, black mane and tail, black muzzle and legs. Quite handsome really, if he wasnt so mean looking. He snapped at her, she stepped back one pace, to show she wasnt afraid. As he arched his neck she understood, he was used to being dominant. She watched him quietly.

Darkly figured shadow moved even closer, something people may not think would be possible considering how close he already was towards her. A smirk grew bigger as he pinned his ears, ready to snap at the femmora again, until something stopped him. There was a long moment of silence as he stared her in the eye. Speak your name vixen. He said, his tone low and amusing yet serious all at once. He continued inching forward, waiting for her reply.

Zodiac. Yours, brute? She replyed, watching him inch forward. Ears flicked back as he got too close for her liking, she backstepped once. As he looked her in the eye, her liquid brown gaze stared right back defiantly. True she was light but yet she was spirited and cold all at the same time. Minor thoughts about snapping at him ran from her mind as she waited for his answer.

A nod was shown as the bay brute had finally stopped inching forward. He snorted a little, but not rude like most stags probably would've been. He was ready to take things slowly at first, gradually making his way to the fun part. Ruffian. He sneared and grinned, wondering if she even knew what that word even meant. But enough about introductions. Want to come home? He asked, a little teasingly toned voice coming out of his darkened muzzle.

A wary look was given to the stallion. Ruffian, how strange. By the look in his eyes he obviously thought she was a dumb, pathetic mare. Well, she wasnt. A snort was given out, not a rude one, a wary one. And if i don't? Cautious but defiant tones ring through the still air, like a sharp slap with a wet towel. He had stopped advancing now. Good. The more distance between them, the better, Zodiac thought. She had been at the hooves of darks before, knew how they thought.

A slow chuckle was made at her response. He made it obvious. Though she thought she wasn't stupid, if she refused to she'd be dragged there by him himself. Though if she agreed to go he'd do no harm to her. But it was obvious that wasn't what she thought. I think you should make a wiser decision my dear. He smirked, eyes dimming down to a glare and voice getting lower as he spoke, showing that it wouldn't be a good idea to refuse. She'd come with him no matter what she'd say, but there was a safer way to get there, she just didn't know it.

She looked at him, at his glaring eyes. I think you should make a wiser decision my dear. There was a threat in that. An obvious one. She would have to think. A moments thought figured his game, he would hurt her if she didnt go. But yet, as she looked at him thinking, she realized that he would most possibly make her life hell if she didnt go. She was a mare, and he was a stallion. It was all a matter of authority really. She sighed. Fine.

A kauk of the head was made at her decision. It usually wasn't that easy for someone like herself, but she was obviously different... smarter. He grinned and trotted an easy-paced gait around her, slightly nipping her hind end to get her moving. He'd round her up and take her home. It was natural instinct.
